Human Computer Interaction Project

Motion Capturing was done on a provided, budget system. The setup consisted of eight cameras connected to a computer running an experimental software for Motion Capturing. The system relied on color to determine different parts of the body, making clothing critical.

The project was done in a group of three students.

To capture fine movements of the fingers, a data glove was used. The initial one was all black and had problems with the color tracking. We modified it using white tape, but eventually rebuild it completely on a bright yellow colored glove for better results.
